Circle History - Mary Ann Sauvage Circle - est. 1999

The Mary Ann Sauvage Circle was formed in March 1999.  Mary Ann, who was a member of the Anna Donahoe Circle, asked her daughter-in-law, Debby, to form a circle.  The original members were Debby Sauvage and Cindy Henning, Mary Brannan, Michele Claeys, Linda DeWrite, Theresa Freeman, Caity Gebhardt, Kristine Griffen, Kate Goodwin, Cathy Hodges, Mary Ann Huddleston, Robin Jones, Tesso Rothrock, Barb Klineman, Sally Maskill, Linda Molive, Janet Morton, Laurie Padden, Melissa Ries Kennedy, Kelly Rudd, Linda Shannon, Sally Straight, Lederle Tenney, Julie Fuesly, Rene Willette, Sheila Wycoff-Dickey, Mona Sauvage.  Those who’s names are underlined remain members in 2008. These young women had formed a friendship through their children’s attendance at St. Joseph School.  Their first ACC project was a bake sale.  Since then they have been involved in many fund raising project.  They have helped with Youth Tutoring at Yesler Terrace by giving holiday parties.  They have sole poinsettias, and recently had a Youth Tutoring book drive.  The Mary Ann Sauvage Circle has made and delivered layettes

Cindy Henning said that her most memorable experience so far, has been attending the Anna Donahoe Circle auction at the Seattle Yacht Club.

HOLIDAY POINSETTIA AND WREATH SALE ORDER FORM HERE!
The Marjorie Ryan and the Mary Ann Sauvage Circles have now entirely combined their wreath and poinsettia sale, making it one sale with the same quality wreaths and poinsettias, but with a few changes.

First, delivery will only be made for orders of $250 or more. Unfortunately traffic, high gas prices, and limited manpower in our circles has led us to this decision. However, in certain neighborhoods we have volunteers who will pick up your plants and bring them to your area, so you can pick up "closer to home." Currently Magnolia, Capitol Hill and Madison Park will have pick up locations on Tuesday afternoon/evening December 2nd. If you prefer the above pickup locations, please put a note on your order form and we will email you the address of your local pick up site in late November. All other orders may be picked up at St. Catherine School gym in North Seattle in the afternoon of Tuesday, December 2nd from 1-3:30 PM, or at St. James Cathedral at their Advent Bazaar after all masses on Sunday December 7th.

Secondly, poinsettias are now available in 6, 8 and 10 inch pots, in your choice of  either red or white plants.. If you have a large request and desire a different color choice, please let us know and we will make every effort to satisfy your order if plants are available.

Prices will remain the same, wreaths will be $20 and poinsettias will range from $15 to $40.

Thank you in advance for your continued support of our wreath and poinsettia sale!
